Features and options of the 2021 Ford Bronco
The Bronco is a lot different this time around with a focus on off-road prowess and capability. The trim levels differ from most of the Ford lineup in naming convention, so they are worth going through. The Bronco lineup begins with the Base, and goes up from there with the Big Bend, Black Diamon, Outer Banks, Badlands, Wildtrak, and the top First Edition. The top First Edition is only getting 7,000 units, and reservations are already full.
The Bronco will include many features that you may not be used to from the Bronco, or even from Ford. Features include removable doors and a removable top. To complete the package, there are both 2-door and 4-door versions available.
Speaking of off-road prowess, the Bronco features a beast-in-class departure and breakover angels with 37.2 degrees and 29 degrees respectively. The Bronco also has an approach angle of 43.2 degrees and a ground clearance of 11.6 inches. All this makes for a water-fording capability of up to 33.5 inches when you opt for the optional high-mounted air intake.
There is also a smaller version of the Bronco joining the family called the Bronco sport. The Bronco Sport will be available in late 2020. It doesn’t have removable doors and the like, but it’s nearly as capable and impressive.
